How does Spot ensure the security of my storage unit?
We use multiple security measures to keep your possessions safe, including:
Access Control – You can enter the facility using your personal access code
24/7 CCTV Surveillance – Our storage facilities are monitored by security cameras and alarms around the clock.
Motion-Activated Lighting – Bright automatic lighting ensures clear visibility when you access your unit.
Personal Key & Lock – You are the only person with access to your storage unit, secured with a specially designed padlock that you own.
Fire Protection – Our facilities include smoke detectors, manual emergency buttons, and fire doors to ensure fire safety.
ID Verification – To prevent unauthorized access, we conduct an identity verification process for all new customers.
Can I allow someone else to access my storage unit?
Yes, as the renter, you decide who can access your unit.
You can share your access code and key with another person if needed.
However, the contract holder remains responsible for any damages to the facility or others’ belongings.
Does Spot monitor who is on the premises?
Yes! Only customers with personal access codes can enter, ensuring unauthorized individuals are kept out.
This allows us to track who is on-site and maintain a secure environment.
What if I lose my key?
If you lose your storage unit key, notify the on-site manager immediately.
Since we do not keep spare keys, we can arrange for a locksmith to drill open the lock, but you will be responsible for the cost.
What if I forget my personal access code?
If you forget your access code, request a new one from the on-site manager.
For security reasons, only the contract holder can receive a new code.
You must provide a valid photo ID to verify your identity.
